Problem:
You may have installed Net Express with .NET support, and is now want to call a legacy system .dll from a .NET application.
Resolution:
The legacy system .dll is termed "unmanaged" code, as it has not been created from within the .NET environment.
You need to add the .dll as a reference in your .NET project.
Go into Help in your .NET project and select 'Contents', 'Micro Focus Studio', 'Programming', 'Interoperability', 'Interoperability Overview', and select the link to 'Interoperating with Unmanaged COBOL'.
This gives several options, including such things as creating and registering COM objects etc.
The easiest way would be the method suggested under the heading 'Using Platform Invoke to Call Unmanaged COBOL'.
