Resolution:

Put the cursor on the line of code where you want to enter a task.  

Then go to Edit | Bookmarks | Add Task List Shortcut.  

Then go to View | Task List.

In the Task List make sure 'Shortcuts' is selected in the drop down, then add your task description.
