I need to gather certain counties (that will vary, depending on various other data and so cannot be predefined) and put them in a dropdown, so one may later be selected by the user.

Is there now a way to do this?

Thanks.

You can use the functions INSERT-LIST-ITEM or INSERT-MANY-LIST-ITEMS to dynamically populate a Listbox or Selection Box at run-time.

You can either pass in a single field containing an entry and use INSERT-LIST-ITEM or you can populate the entire box at once by passing in a table of items using INSERT-MANY-LIST-ITEMS.

This has always been possible or am I missing something in your question?

Hi,

Well, I wanted to be able to change the contents of the selection-box at different times in the program - say when a certain adjuster was selected, only the counties he had assignments in would populate that box. Later if another adjuster was selected, different counties would populate the box.

Yes, this is possible to load dynamically the Content of Dialog System Combo box, also from Netexpress to pass on ds
