My team will be receiving virgin Windows 7 machines shortly and we will be installing Net Express 5.1 on them.

My question is if the following is the correct/prefered procedure?

1. De-install Net Express from old XP machine, revoking license to get revoke key.
2. Install Net Express on new 7 machine by executing NXP3251060079.exe downloaded from Micro Focus' SupportLine web site.
3. Re-register installation with revoke and new response keys.

Yes, that is the correct procedure to follow.

Also remember to upgrade your Server 5.1 installations to the same wrappack 6 level at the same time.
