Problem:
How do I install the Security AddPack for Server Express and Server for COBOL on Unix/Linux
Resolution:
Unlike Wrap Packs for Server Express or Server for COBOL, the Security AddPack is not a full version of the product. The Security AddPack has as a prerequisite, the matching version of Server Express or Server for COBOL. For Server Express/Server for COBOL Wrap Pack 10, the matching Security Add Pack version is sxsecuritypack51.11_00_dev.tar.encr.
1. Ensure that Server Express/Server for COBOL is installed on the machine where you are installing this AddPack.
2. As root, with COBDIR set to the installation location of the Server Express/Server for COBOL, execute the file. You will now have a tar file containing the AddPack.
3. Extract the AddPack, using the command: tar xvf <filename>. A directory such as Securitypack51.11_00_dev will be created.
4. Make the install file executable.
5. Install the AddPack, by executing the installation script, using the command: sh ./install
