The upgrade path after Net Express 5.1 is Visual COBOL.

There is no Net Express 6.x. Perhaps, there is Studio Enterprise Edition 6.x, which uses Net Express IDE, but it is basically Net Express 5.1 with mainframe support. Studio Enterprise Edition 6.x has been superseded by Enterprise Developer.
