Is there a way to get compiler to ignore mainframe compiler options CBL cards?

Problem:

CBL cards are embedded in the source, before the identification division.

CBL begins in column 9, followed by options. For example:

        CBL nodynam,lib,cbject,apost

Resolution:

Compiler directive COBOL370 disregards the CBL card.
