Problem:

Release 4.0:

This error appeared when trying to compile any program within Net Express, including the demos provided with Net Express.

Resolution:

The problem appeared a corruption. A simple deinstall and reinstall didn't work here. Nor cleaning the registry entries. Somehow something on the system completely corrupted the programs within Net Express. The only solution to this problem was to get the backup of the  previous week and the corruption disappeared.
