Is there a way to define a MLE field (Netexpress 5.1) to allow for Cyrillic input? (I think this is a question for Chris Glazier)

Hi Georg,

I was hoping that somebody else might reply to your question as I do not really know of a way.
Net Express and Dialog System are older technologies and do not support Unicode.

What happens when you change the Windows language to Cyrillic and attempt to type into an MLE? What is displayed?

Hi Chris,

I have developed a Workaround in Python that translates UTF-8 (Cyrillic) into German using AI support, and subsequently converts the translated German into Latin1.

Kind regards,

Georg
