Is it supported in Widows 7? Because it works there.

We are converting to Visual COBOL but it will take a while. I want to know if it will install and work in Windows 8 like it does in Windows 7. We don't need it to be supported.

I found a test machine with Windows 8.

Net Express 5.1 installed, ran, compiled, and debugged fine.

Net Express 5.1 should install and run ok under Windows 8 but you should be at the wrappack 10 level.

Net Express 5.1 is certified and supported under Windows 7 but it is not certified under Windows 8.

Visual COBOL is certified and supported under both Windows 7 and Windows 8.
