Problem:

Is Net Express compatible with Windows 8 and Windows 2012 Server?

Resolution:

Net Express and Server for COBOL products do not support Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012. Micro Focus will review this situation again in July 2013. Customers intending to deploy on this platform should do so using the Visual COBOL product line which supports Windows 8 deployment; Windows Server 2012 support is expected to be available later this year (2012).
