When I log into a WinXP box with Net Express 4.0 I get this error:
"The license database for Net Express Application Server has been moved from its original location or removed and recreated. Delete the database, which is mfasdb, and reinstall the license keys."
I remove and reinstall the program and still get the error. Any ideas?
Also, how do I "reinstall the license keys."? Is that stored in a file?
Thanks.
The error message given, "The license database for Net Express Application Server has been moved from its original location or removed and recreated. Delete the database, which is mfasdb, and reinstall the license keys."
Is not one recognizese from the product. Its possible its part of the Cobol application you are running.
To resolve this try the following...
1. From a command prompt with cobol environment set, Run aslmpclocate.
This will return the location of the license database. (mfasdb) The default location is c:\\mfaslmf
2. Move to the location given by aslmpclocate.
3. Remove the file mfasdb
4. Run apptrack
5. Selection option 3 to install your license key.
