Hello,
do you know if there are some know issues or some special setup procedures when using OpenESQL Assistant in NE 5.1 on a Windows 7 64bit platform.

I setup the ODBC Data Sources and I am able to connect to the Oracle databases. Oracle 10g 64Bit client is installed and working on my Win 7 64 bit machine.

Any assistance/direction is greatly appreciate.

The OpenESQL Assistant is a 32-bit product as is the Net Express IDE itself.

Only 32-bit ODBC Data Sources will show up in the OpenESQL Assistant list so if you wish to use the assistant you need to create a 32-bit DSN for the database connection and use that to generate your code.

Thanks.
