I have two strange problems with the Output Window of NETEXPRESS 5.1 that appeared suddenly without having modified anything in the configuration..

Formerly when I selected some text in the output window and copy it to the clipboard, then pasting it in other application (Notepad or word) everything went quite well. But since some days nothing happens, nothing is copied.

The second problem, I suppose it is related to the first is following:

When some error messages appear in the output window, a double click positions the cursor on the error line of the source program. Now, just nothing happens after double click.

Any Idea what is wrong with the configuration?

Hi Rolf,

Sounds like something changed on your computer, Windows Update perhaps? On what version of Windows are you running?

The Clipboard setting of Net Express can be found under the IDE menu Options-->Edit and then select the Clipboard tab. Is this set to Windows Clipboard?

I have no idea why double-clicking the error in the Output Window would not position you to the source. Does this happen for all programs or just a particular one?

I would recommend that you do a Repair of Net Express from Control Panel-->Programs and Features and see if this restores the lost functionality.

I am working with Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1 64 BIT
We are installing Updates for Windows almost every day. There are many updates. Are you looking for one specially? Do you wand a list of updates that are installed?
I tried both settings under IDE | Options --> Edit. Using the local Clippboard makes the situation even worst. The clipboard now in the main window only copies and pastes within the Netexpress, nothing outside.
Output window does not copy.
Setting to Windows Clippboard it works good with the main IDE window and between all Window applications, but not with the output window.
After repairing Control Panel  Programs and features restore the situation did not Change anything.
The double click on any error message still does not work,

I am not aware of this being an issue with Net Express 5.1 under Windows 7 at any Windows Update level. If Net Express was working OK and then the behavior changed then it has to be related to something that has changed in your environment. Have you installed any new software or anti-virus program on this computer?

What update level of NX are you running? Update 15 is the latest one. I would recommend installing this if you haven't already.

If you have current maintenance for this product with Micro Focus then I would recommend that you open up a ticket with Customer Support and we can explore your machine, etc.

The latest Version of 5.1 is 5.115.0025 and your reported issues I do not have on my w7 platform
