Today we P5 processor development and production have at least P7, the issue becomes more complex since we are compiling in P5 processors and these binaries will be promoted to Production.
At least we need to have to use the maximum P7 processors operating time production, on the other hand ask microfocus provider they point out the differences to try a compiled P5 and P7 certificate and exploited in binary.

We ONLY need to Know  some performance Tips from You or Micro Focus about Performance in environment having Power 5 in Development and Power 7 in Production using AIX 5.3.

The Server Express product on AIX generates code that is compatible with both the Power 5 and Power 7 processors and there really isn't an option to target additional features of the P7.

IBM would be the best source of information regarding the setup of the OS environment for optimal performance.

Have you run into any actual performance issues with your application?

If there is a specific area that you are concerned with like file handling, database access etc,.then perhaps we could make some recommendations to help your application perform better in that specific area?
