question installing net express 4.0 , application server already installed.

Problem:

Problem:

The install of Net Express 4.0 on a Window XP professional  failed because the Setup reported erroneously an installed Application Server for NE 4.0.

Resolution:

Workaround:

1. Using regedit, rename the key

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Uninstall to Uninstall-temp

2. Start the NX setup.

3. At the setup welcome screen, rename the key back to Uninstall.
