required components to run an web page application in the internet

I use Netexpress 2.0 .

I want to run a web page application in a web server in the internet.

But I have some daubts to achieve that, for example:

- Is necessary to install a specific 'application server software'

in the 'internet server'

to run the programs cgi (.exe) and the pages (.htm)

built with Netexpress 2.0 ?
