Problem:

A Net Express project was set to to perform remote animation between Net Express and a COBOL  program running on AIX with Server Express 4 SP3.

When selecting to Start/Animating in the Net Express IDE the follow error message appears:-

Execution error: file 'opt/microfocus/cobol/dynload/animsrvr.libr/dispatch.gnt'

error code: 115, pc=0, call=1, seg=0

115 Unexepected signal (Signal 4)

Resolution:

This error was resolved by installing IBM APAR Number IY80008 to the AIX installation.
