Server express WrapPack upgrade

Hello,

 

We are using Server express 5.1 wp3 and we need to upgrade to wp6 ( hotfix). Do we need to compile and link all of our program after this uprgade ?

What is the compatibility between programs compiled with SE 5.1 wp3 and runtime with wp6 ?

    Following is from one of our Server Express Engineers:

    Recompiling is dependent on your application. We usually recommend  to customers that they should recompile for the simple reason that any changes in the compiler & run-time will not take effect until you do.  

    Some customers can get away with without recompiling and some can’t.

    There is a HotFix for the license manager.  You would have to stop your current license manager and restart it after installing the HotFixes.
