Problem:

Starting Net Express from the shortcut fails with “C00000FD Stack Overflow at: 00352CC3 01:00011CCE C:\\Program Files\\Micro Focus\\Net Express 5.1\\Base\\Bin\\IDECORE.dll”. There is however no problem to start Net Express from the Net Express Command Prompt using the MFNETX command. Double-clicking on MFNETX.EXE from the BIN directory of Net Express also gives the exact same error. None of the methods below resolved the problem:

Running the repair feature from Add or Remove Programs

Resolution:

This problem is a known issue reported on the base version of Net Express 5.1, and the only way to fix it is to apply WrapPack 3 or a more recent version.

I would know about error "IDECORE.dll" sometimes tried reinstalling net express (micro focus), also environment variables.
