Problem:

Unable to apply WebSync 5 to an installed version of Net Express 5.0 Server.

Resolution:

When applying WebSync 5 via the batch file you may see the following messages:

C:\\>Install_SRP3250050025.bat

Server 5.0 WrapPack #005 has not been installed. Please contact Micro Focus SupportLine.

The solution in this scenario is:

1) Backup your Enterprise Server settings/environment (should you have any).

2) Uninstall Server via Add/Remove Programs from within the Windows Control Panel.

3) Download CD-SV50-MF001.zip from the Micro Focus SupportLine web site.

4) Extract the contents of this zip into a directory of your choice, ensuring that you preserve the directory structure. For example, use the command:

unzip -q CD-SV50-MF001.zip

5) To run setup, open the setup.exe file.

6) To apply WrapPack 5 to your base installation, download SRP3250050025.zip from the Micro Focus SupportLine web site.

7) Extract the contents of the zip to an appropriate folder and run the extracted batch file install_SRP3250050025.bat, by entering the filename at the command line.
