Problem:
When starting Net Express and creating a project you get the error message: 'General failure Could not create project'
Resolution:
This type of error sometimes occurs due to not having write permissions on directories. Users need write permissions on "C:\\Documents and Settings\\mfuser\\My Documents" in Windows XP to be able to run Net Express programs from within the IDE.
This directory can change if you have specified a different directory to where you are creating your project or if you are using a different operating system to Windows XP.
