This article addresses a known issue regarding the inability to use DB2 option REOPT with Net Express for binding parameters.

Problem:

The REOPT DB2 directive is currently not supported and the REOPT_VARS directive, which is an older form of the directive, is supported but not working properly. Is there a fix for this?

Resolution:

The HotFix level 3 for Net Express version 5.1 WrapPack (WebSync) 03 is available which supports the REOPT DB2 directive for binding parameters. Please contact Micro Focus SupportLine if this HotFix is required.
