Hi Acomerci, I'm not sure why this isn't working but I would certainly recommend using Visual COBOL for Eclipse Personal Edition instead.

You can download Visual COBOL PE for Eclipse here:

Hi, I have installed Net Express 5.1 personal edition on Windows 7 64 bits and never appears the Unix Option option (according to this document supportline.microfocus.com/.../mcdsys.htm it should appear).

The Unix option is not supported in the Net Express Personal Edition product.

If you wish to get the features for publishing to Unix systems including Character Mode Dialog System you would have to get a full Net Express 5.1 product version.

As Scot Nielson pointed out you might want to look into downloading the Visual COBOL Personal Edition at the link he provided.

Thanks.

Thanks for answering, I need the Unix option to use character screens (extension ".s"). Do you know if with the full version of Net Express 5.1 this screens will work on Windows 7 64 bits?

Regards.

Hi, I have installed Net Express 5.1 personal edition on Windows 7 64 bits and never appears the Unix Option option (according to this document supportline.microfocus.com/.../mcdsys.htm it should appear).

The screens will display properly on a Windows 7 64-bit system but are only available in a 32-bit application.

So if you compile and link your application as 32-bit you should be fine.
