I have a slightly different problem with the Watch list.  On my computer (Netexpress 5.1) the window stays on the same place, but although sometimes al the watched variables stay, suddenly after breakin the animator, all Watch Variables disappear and I have to type them all again. Then the window is simply empty.

Is there any way to keep the Variables from one session to the next?

The information about the location of the watch window and the other IDE windows is stored in the system registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Micro Focus and should be retained between uses. How are you starting the Animator, from the IDE, command line, CBL_DEBUGBREAK, etc?

The session information is stored in a file named called <projname>.~DY which should be saved in the output folder of the project, i.e. DEBUG.

This contains breakpoints and watch variables, etc.

If this file is deleted you will lose your current settings.

I know the importance of all the files that are in the DEBUB folder. Therefore I never delete a file in that folder. Nevertheless sometimes happens what I mentioned that the complete Watch List disappeared.  Perthaps due to stopping the animator? I didn't  find a reason to say "after this... allways the list diasappeared" it happens  quite irregularly.

In the above registry structure, I just see this value (that has any relation in my opinion):
