Problem:

Why do parent objects shine through clipped child windows?

Resolution:

This is a known issue with Windows -- it actually dates back to the days of 16 bit Windows!

Unfortunately, Microsoft has never fixed the issue in any versions of Windows and there is nothing we can do to "work around" it.

This is why the majority of GUI Windows applications do not have objects on the parent window when using clipped children.  Your options are:

1) Remove the objects from the parent window.

2) Do not use a clipped child window.
