Sorry for the trouble. The activation server is currently down, but we expect to have it running again shortly.
In the meantime, please edit your post and remove or obfuscate your license number and serial number.

We expect this to be resolved within a few hours -- it's a data center hardware issue. We do understand the urgency. Unfortunately, this is not my area of expertise, but have you tried calling supportline to see if they can issue you an activation code?

The licensing server hardware problem has not been fixed -- it is being worked on, but I can't give you a time. Please call supportline and they should be able to issue you a license that does not depend on the licensing server. All RM versions 8 and later are affected, but I suspect you're doing an initial installation as normally, the server being unavailable for a few days is not a problem.

I just tried and still returns the error.
Christos what you can do is talk with Support or create a ticket into the support system under Licensing type and send the license veryfication info so they can return the activation code. We have done that for a customer and we are working in a similar situation for three other customers.

I did say it would be intermittent for a bit as it was still being worked on, but I think those problems have now been solved and we are taking steps to ensure this doesn't happen again. There should not be any further interruptions in service.

This looks like the normal installation process, which has not changed in a very very long time. I’m pretty sure RMInstall asks this question on every install, but the actual installation will ask it too if it’s not running in silent mode.
If you answer the questions, the installation will proceed.

When I used to install the RUNTIME in the past there was the option "only for this computer" and when I chose that option it worked well. Since this is our only option now which is the correct USER and ORGANIZATION?

Can you give an update on the current status of the Activation server, email not sent issue?
I attempted a license activation yesterday, Nov 28, 2023.
The message indicated the activation codes were valid and an email would be sent. No email has yet been received.
Several email addresses were used including both work and a gmail address.
