How to convert Elink repository from a ELMasterRepository to an ELRepository?

Resolution:

When converting from an ELMasterRepository to a ELRepository a few manual steps are required to remove the project management settings and prepare the database for shared, uncontrolled use.

Remove the Project Management tables and stored procedures

Open the http://localhost/stdocs -> Project Manager

Click on the i information help icon

On the window that appears, scroll down and click on the EnterpriseLink Project Manager Administrators Guide

Scroll down and click on Remove Project Manager under the appropriate database type

Reset the Check-in/Check-out settings on the pages

Open up http://localhost/stadmin/query.html

Set the Server to ELMasterRepository

Clear the User and Password field if operating under a trusted connection or supply a database administrator or password field

In the Query field enter the following and click OK:

        UPDATE SR_MPAG SET buttonbar = CASE

          WHEN buttonbar = 0 THEN 0

          WHEN buttonbar = 1 THEN 1

          WHEN buttonbar = 2 THEN 0

          WHEN buttonbar = 3 THEN 1

          WHEN buttonbar = 16 THEN 16

          WHEN buttonbar = 17 THEN 17

          WHEN buttonbar = 18 THEN 16

          WHEN buttonbar = 19 THEN 17

        END

The ELMasterRepository Data Source Name can be renamed to ELRepository on each authoring station using the http://localhost/stadmin/ - > Configuration - > Repository page. If the project(s) in this repository need to be moved to another instance of this or other DBMS, use the standard migrate web form or migrate command line utility.
