We have our own gateway system and have to set the lengths of the ELink session ID that is handled via parameters in the gateway server. What is the range of the cookie session ID length that ELink creates?

The EnterpriseLink session ID has a minimum of 8 ASCII characters and a maximum of 18 ASCII characters.  However, the typical session cookie is usually 12 characters or less.
