Resolution:
Most frequently, this occurs when a virus protection program determines that a process is trying to alter the registry of the machine when it should not be doing so. The solution is to temporarily disable the virus protection program for the duration of time it takes to install the product. Remember to reactivate the virus protection software once the product is properly installed.
