Problem:
When trying to use any of the features in the Web Author's pages:
Could not connect to database ELRepository with user and password ; returned -1.
Database Error:
SQL Error State:S1000, Native Error Code: FFFFFBF8, ODBC Error: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file '(unknown)'. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data.
Resolution:
This is a Microsoft Jet error message.
When Jet needs to write to a temporary file, it tries to do so in the Windows Temp directory (C:\\Windows\\Temp or whatever your TEMP or TMP environment variable is set to).
If the current user does not have write access to that directory, the above message is displayed.
Solution is to make sure the user has write access to the Windows Temp directory.
