    Which version of RM/COBOL are you running, and are you seeing this with the compiler or runtime system?

    I also suggest you use the services control panel and stop and restart the "Liant Use-Counting Service". Does that resolve the problem?

    The only way to resolve, at the moment, is to restart the machine... OR ... to close all the runtimes from the task manager and re-install the runtime system on the machine.
    To answer to your previous question, I'm having the problem while using RUNTIME system

    Are you using Terminal Services to access the runtime from other places?

    Hello,

    I've noticed that the newest updates for windows operating systems are messing with user permissions, admin privileges and others.

    Check if your program is running with admin privileges and also try changing windows compatibility.
