When connecting to products like the Relativity Designer tool, a login box is displayed. Is it possible to setup a Relativity Data Source so that it automatically logs in and does not display the logon box?

Resolution

With a number of other Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) drivers (e.g. Oracle and SQL Server), it is possible when configuring your Data Source Name (DSN), to include login information. This means that users are not prompted for login details when an application uses the DSN to connect to the data source.

When setting up a Relativity DSN, it is not possible to enter login details.

With some applications it is possible to configure default login details, but Relativity Designer does not provide this functionality. This means that even if a Relativity data source is configured without security, the logon box will always be displayed. A user name and password may not be required, but the logon box does need to be confirmed.
