Is RM/COBOL supported on virtual machines?

Resolution:

Micro Focus uses some virtual machine technology in its quality assurance testing.  Specifically, VMware is used to emulate some Unix and Linux environments.  However, none of the RM/COBOL family of products is subjected to a complete quality assurance test on any virtual machine environment, nor is any attempt made to emulate Windows environments on Unix.

Customers that choose to use virtual machine technology are relying on the claims made by the vendors of such technology.  As always, Micro Focus will attempt to support our customers who choose to use virtual machine technology subject to its capacity to demonstrate product issues on 'native' systems.
