Creating a text field in EnterpriseLink Builder and adding extra spaces for alignement. When running the application, the extra spaces are removed.

This is normal HTML behavior, in general a single whitespace or a sequence of whitespace characters are treated as a single space. However, in Builder, on the "General" tab for Page Properties, you can check "Preformatting".  When this is done, you will see, when Preview is executed, that the spaces in the text field are retained. Alternatively, when a "Fixed Width" font style on the text field's Property "Display" tab is selected, the spaces are also retained.
