XML Extensions can be configured to not export empty occurrences when the XML EXPORT function is called.  Unfortunately, this option might cause non-empty occurrences to be suppressed in the output document.

A patch for the XML Extensions Runtime Library is available in the Product Updates page on the Micro Focus web site (http://www.microfocus.com).  This patch addresses the XML EXPORT issue with OCCURs.
