Who provides support for COBOL-CGXI when used within RM/COBOL programs?

Resolution

The COBOL-CGIX for RM/COBOL product was the forerunner to the Xcentrisity™ Business Information Server (BIS) product range and provided a way to quickly move a RM Cobol application from a character based application to a Web Server based application without having to rewrite all the COBOL business logic. This meant that RM COBOL handled the Common Gateway Interface (CGI) calls from the Web page.

The documentation for the last supported version of COBOL-CGIX which is a Windows help file stored inside the attached zip file, provided with RM/Cobol can be downloaded from this location: RMCGIX.zip

The COBOL-CGIX product is supported by the company England Technical Services (ETS). Below is a link to their home page:

Note:

The standard COBOL syntax is supported by Micro Focus; however the specific syntax of COBOL-CGIX or issues relating to the use of COBOL-CGIX are supported by ETS.
