Hi -

I have a ISAM file.. File is in Recovery Status .. causing 9802 in program opening this file...

I cannot recover the file using recover1 since file is used in real time system..

Is there any other method to recover this file or skip the bad record ?

Swapnil, not really.  This status is 'marked for recovery' which means that a previous file operation encountered a corrupt structure in the file.  The issue may not be simply a 'bad record'.  Without knowing the original 98 error (status 98,nn - where nn is not 01 or 02), one cannot safely simply ignore the need to recover.

Sorry...
