RM/Cobol Runtime and Windows 11

Hi,
I'm running a program with an old version of the RM/COBOL runtime. After the recent Windows 11 update (08-2025), the runtime no longer works with the following error: "Cannot load RMGUIFE.DLL..." (see attached file).
Has anyone encountered this problem?
Is there a new compatible runtime?
Where can I get information on purchasing one?
I tried submitting a contact request on the website form, but received no response.
Thanks

Hi Simone

With the last version of Windows 11 some libraries (dlls) are no longer in your PC. I don't know if when upgrading to last release the upgrading process delete some *.dlls. For a while try to see if these dlls: CTL3D32.DLL (Windows system file required by RM/COBOL.) and CTL3DV2.DLL (indows system file required by RM/COBOL) are in system32 or sysWOW64 directories.

Hope thise Help.

Hi Humberto and Simone,

I have the same problem with a RM/COBOL vs 11 runtime. I try the solution here copying  the CTL3D32.DLL and CTL3DV2.DLL on C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\SysWOW64, but still have the same problem.  Do I need to register them ?

Regards

James
