I have been working with the WOW Designer v10 for 6 months now and have just gotten this error message.  Where do I find this key and how do I correct it?

    Hi Linda,

    I've seen that message when running WOW Designer without the needed privileges. Try to run it as administrator (right click on WOW Designer, Run as administrator) to see if this way works.

    Unfortunately, it didn't work. I get the error when I am opening the designer. When I click OK, the designer opens and I am able to work.

    You may want to do a installation repair on the WOW Designer using the Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features control panel applet, which should re-register all the prerequisite controls that the Designer uses. If this happens at startup, some prerequisite control might have been unregistered or even removed by another installation. If you added third-party controls to the toolbox, you might want to also repair or manually re-register those.
