Greeting all!

New to Universe so my apologies for the rookie question.  Is there any to determine when the last date/time a program was compiled and by whom?

    Check at the os level into the PROG.O directory, each file is a code object, theos  date/time/owner his the one who run BASIC statement.

    Hi Doc,

    I'm uncertain about the ability to determine who did the last
    compilation but the date and time can be determined by exiting to the
    OS, going to the BP.O, (or whatever the program file name is), and doing
    a "dir" on widows or an "ls -lia" on linux or Unix. Maybe somebody else
    has knowledge about the user.

    Sorry just a half answer.

    A more objective way of determining the date/time it was compiled (pun intended) is to use VLIST:

    Including the user in the object code header sounds like a great enhancement.
