Instructions to setup / configure REST server with SSL and test a client request from python for example?

I think I have what I need from the python client side but I wanted to know if somebody can point me put to any article or link or Advise to setup this API from unidata

    I think you'll find what you want here: https://rbc.rocketsoftware.com/ - choose Resources -> Product Availability -> U2 DBTools and any platfor as the tools are common. From there you should get links for both the U2 DBTools (which includes the Restful Developer tool) and the documentation which includes SSL configuration and deployment.
