I attended the last MV Roadmap session, & it was mentioned that MV BASIC for Visual studio would be released at the end of March.   I would be very interested to try it out, once it is released, so can someone from Rocket please advise once it is available, thanks!

Mary,

I expect that PM and/or Marketing will post something to the forum on the Release.

If I do not see it, I or one of the other Rocket MultiValue Support Engineers will provide the information.

I've downloaded it, and the Java 11 runtime it mentioned, put the path to Java in the Code/Rocket extention plugin... but still get errors.

Hi, @Roger Harvey

I assume you already opened a folder in the VS code, then trying to activate "Rocket MV BASIC" extension and received this error, please correct me if I was wrong.
If this is true, then could you please help to double check to see if you have "write" access to this folder on the Windows? To working with "Rocket MV BASIC" extension, you will need "write" access to this local folder.

If you have full access to this path and this is not the factor here, then I would like open a customer case with you and we can have a WebEx meeting to do further research, thanks.

Btw, for the MV BASIC extension, we have another forum named "ROCKET MVVS: MV BASIC FOR VISUAL STUDIO CODE ", you can apply to join this forum to see more discussion about Rocket MV BASIC extension, thanks.

Best Regards.
Charles.
