I used the call.stack feature of unidata's port.status - I dont see that on universe. layer.stack does not appear to be even remotely the same...

is there a function on universe that will show me what program(s) a port is currently running?

thanks!

Hi

Yes it's LAYER.STACK option of PORT.STATUS but you must isolate the port you inspect with PID xxx on the  statement.

AH, ok, it looks different - can I tell what line number from this display?

Layer type....... Program name.................... Address...
BASIC run machine SS.INPUT 0x000002AC
BASIC run machine SKID705 0x00000A8A

Hum

You have the internal adress into the code.
You must use VLIST progfile progname
And read line vs adress
