In UniVerse 11, how are the 7 records associated with a port file created?

We have been using 11.3.5 for quite a while, and I have never heard of a “port file”.

The version of UniVerse involved is important here. Starting at UniVerse 11.3.1, the port number (@USERNO) values in UniVerse changed, It is the position in the LCT/NUSERS table, and will report as negative if it is a phantom or a UniRPC connection. There is a USE_FIXED_PORT setting in uvconfig that can return some of the older functionality.
The noted 405P file looks to be a custom file as it is not shipped with UniVerse.
