Our organisation operates the Universe 11.3.1 platform for all our Settlement Processing as a tier 1 bank.
We like many other Users of Universe experience 99.++ HA. Our operation team have called out the need to reach 99.99+
Which brings me to the question of HA & DR using RFS support.
Can 11.3.1 support RFS to achieve HA & DR at a level of 99.99+

We provide UniVerse-based solutions for 9-1-1 communication centers who have enjoyed 99.99% or greater availability for decades. We had one customer had no downtime from the time the server was installed until the time it was replaced seven years later. Is there a specific reason why you are seeing only 99% availability?

Hi Henry,

Our annual stats are 99.90. The issue was raised by our Architect Manager. He identified, for us to reach 99.99% we would need to engage the Rocket Universe RFS offering which was NOT supported by Universe 11.3.1

I just wanted to confirm that the RFS functionality in UniVerse is not available until the 12.1 release.
Another possible option with the 11.3 release is to use Replication with a hot standby subscriber system.

All clear. Having said that, Is there an upgrade guide supporting 11.3.1 to 12.1. We now that upgrading from 10.3 to 11.3 was significant back in 2019.

Hi Darren,
If you are considering an upgrade, I would recommend reviewing the introduction section of the 12.1.1 release notes which describes changes implemented at the 12.1.1 release which might impact applications currently running at the 11.3.x release. I would also recommend reviewing the 12.1.1 Notices file on the PAM which would have additional information about the current status of 12.1.1.
