Hello Forum Members!
I have a question and hope someone can point me in the right direction.
I recently stumpled across the a file directory named __V__VIEW. It appears it has something to link UniData to an SQL environment.
My question is this.... Where can I find documentation on this? I can seem to find it or maybe I'm looking in the wrong places.
If someone could lead me into the right direction, I will be most appreciative!!!
Thank you for your time and consideration in advance.
Sincerely,

The __V__VIEW file is maintained by UniData itself when for example you create a view or convert a file to a table via UniData SQL or via using the Visual Schema Generator Tool (VSG). The structure of the file is not formally documented as it is an internal file to UniData.
Bearing in mind it's an internal file to UniData is there anything more that you want to know about the file.

It is a very important system file for the UniData SQL Schema. The user should not need to make any change on that file. Some UniData customers might corrupt that file for some reasons. It can be copied from a new UniData account to work from there. But, the previously created user's tables or views are not usable any more.

Thank you for the response. Our goal was not to make changes or to remove this file, but to understand its functionality.
We might need to leverage this in our future, potential projects that we are thinking about.
Appreciate the advice!!!
