unidata 8.2.4 and what does TE mean?

is it possible to get a PE version of 8.2.4 of unidata, its what we are currently running and I would like to test with  also when installing 8.3.2  i see

Doug,

You can request short-term evaluation licenses and software through your normal commercial supply channels.

Please note that PE versions cannot be upgraded - they can only be removed and replaced.

The TE stands for Trial Edition.
