Hi,

Is it possible to connect to MQ using LDAP in Unidata 8.2.4. if not, is there any work around to connect and post messages?

We are upgrading our IBM MQ version to 9.3 so we are changing the authentication to LDAP CSP and send username and password for authentication. Is there a way for Unidata to accommodate these changes?

Any reference to documentation or any inputs will be greatly appreciated.

More simple question should be can we use MQCONNX to connect to MQ in Unidata?

Hi,

I don't think there's a restriction on having user/password resolved by LDAP, then defined for MQ usage but feel free to create a support case to discuss further. At current UniData and UniVerse releases, there is no MQCONNX, only MQCONN. Although there is an enhancement request in the queue for MQCONNX.
