Darren,

There was a problem with phantoms being run from console sessions from the windows command prompt when the session/window is closed, the PHANTOM process is killed with the session. This was for console sessions only (not telnet) and was fixed in 8.2.1. Currently I am not aware of any reported occurances of the problem since the fix in 8.2.1.

I would suggest raising a support call with your support provider (probally MBS)  for further assistance on this.

Some basic questions that MBS (and rocket) would need to investigate, what version of Windows and what version of UniData (udt -revno from the command prompt will give you that).

When did the problem start happening (i.e what changed since it last worked)

Does the problem happen for a telnet session or command prompt or both.

Does it happen for all users or one user.

Regards,
